{Surrender to Stay}

With every Missions Conference, missionary speaker, or even a presentation of a ministry need, I feel a tug at my heart.

“Lord, I’ll go!”

I can’t tell you how many countries I have told the Lord I would be willing to go to!

But as I approach the next step I was struck by the thought…

{Have I surrendered to stay?}

Of course I want to go, the adventure and the needs call to me. But what about staying exactly where I am?

That does not appeal to me at all.

But is that because I am ignoring the need? Am I ignoring the adventure placed right before me?

There are needs, and there is adventure–every morning when you get out of bed.

I will surrender to stay.

:On A More Serious Note:

As I hope the title conveys, this blog post is a little more serious in nature.

It’s just something I can’t get out of my mind.

{The Faces}

On this trip I was exposed to something that I never would have seen, if I had stayed home in my bubble of comfort.

:The Reality of Human Trafficking:

A harsh reality that I can’t stop thinking about. A harsh reality that impacts people all over the world.

I now know that this is something that I cannot just sit by and let happen. I cannot see these innocent children’s faces and not do something.

To be honest I don’t know what’s next, but I am seeking what the next step is.

Pray for the victims. Pray for those working to raise awareness. Pray for the next step.

A21 Campaign~ check it out. The statistics are rather shocking. Our eyes need to be opened.
